WALT to create a Moment in Time

I saw the dark as I got up and out of bed.  I turned on the light and got out the frying pan and pancake mixture.

I smelled the pancake mixture from in the bottle.  I poured the water in the bottle and shook it.

I heard 'plop, plop, plop' when I poured it out of the bottle on the frying pan.

I heard Mum getting up.

I felt excited for Mum.  She heard me cooking. "Pancakes!"  I gave them to her.  She loved them.

I wondered if I was the best cook ever.

Sky Diving

It was the most exciting day yet in my whole life. I was doing skydiving this afternoon. I got three tickets from hot shots and won $3,023,000.


I was getting ready to pick up my friends, who were Jasmine and Sydney. They were getting ready too. We jumped in the car and drove to the airport and we got some lollies on the way.


Finally we reached the airport in time, we had to get there by 3pm. We jumped in the plane and took off.


I felt nervous. A guy explained the roles. When we were high enough we jumped and fell. I pulled the lever, poof the parachute went. We floated across the sky. Soon we landed on the ground. I said again, again.


It was a beautiful day and we all went home feeling awesome.

We are learning multiplication and division strategies in Room 8 at the moment.

Who is Mrs Positive?
