I have coloured the parts of the seahorse that show my swimming skills. Miss Sheppard has put a sticker on my next swimming goal.

Goal Setting 2013

My literacy goal is to increase the number of words I know (vocabulary).
I will achieve my goal by using the five finger rule when I choose a book, and use my reading strategies when I get stuck on a word. Always ask for help if I get stuck.

My numeracy goal is to learn my two times tables (my five times table next).
Sing my two times tables and play times table games. Work with Mum on doubling numbers 15.

My third goal is to breathe on the side in swimming freestyle.
I will try my best and follow instructions in the water.

Strongest Man in the World.

We went to lunch area  to listen to a guest. I thought  the guest would be a clown but it was Levi the New Zealand strongman champion. He told us about his childhood.

He is the Mega Mitre 10 person on television his muscles looked like rocks and a hill too. He had weird tattoos.

Levi told us that we can follow our dreams too.

After he spoke he took photographs with us.

Milla’s Formal Letter to Minister of Education

Dear Minister of Education

 I am writing an important letter and I want Burnham school to stay open. I am complaining that Burnham school is going to be closed .

 In my opinion that Burnham school is special because we have our lovely teacher in room 2. I do not want you to close our school.

The closure of Burnham School in December 2015 would be a bad idea. Everybody at Burnham school and surrounding community are requesting that the Government stops the closure.


 I do not agree with the proprosal and the Government needs to stop the closure of Burnham school.
